Cabled Heart with Moss Stitch

This heart is knitted on a purl background with 2x1 cables for the outline, using a pair of single and double prong transfer tools. The written instructions are below but I think that after working the first few rows, you may find that knitting from the chart is just as easy because other than the first and the last two rows, this is a very simple design.

Pattern has 29 Stitches and 35 Rows

To convert sts, put latch hook tool through stitch below first or second purl bump under needle depending on whether one or two rows need to be converted. Release st from ndl, unravel, ladder it back up and replace on original needle.

Row 1: Convert st 15. Push latch hook tool front to back through st 15 and also front to back through st 14. Release 14 from ndl and pull through 15. Replace 14 on original needle. Push latch hook tool front to back through st 15 again and also front to back through st 16. Release 16 and pull through 15. Replace 16 on original ndl. Knit row. Convert sts 14 & 16.
Row 2: Cross st 16 over 17. Cross st 14 over 13. Knit. Convert sts 13, 14, 16, and 17.
Row 3: Cross 16 & 17 over 18. Cross 14 & 13 over 12. Knit 2 rows. Convert both rows of sts 17, 18, 15, 13, and 12.
Row 5: Cross 17 & 18 over 19. Cross 13, 12 over 11. Knit 2 rows. Convert both rows of sts 19, 18, 16, 14, 12, and 11.
Row 7: Cross 18, 19 over 20. Cross 12, 11 over 10. Knit 2 rows. Convert both rows of st columns 20, 19, 17, 15, 13, 11, and 10.
Row 9: Cross 19 & 20 over 21. Cross 11 & 10 over 9. Knit row. Convert sts 21, 20, 10, and 9.
Row 10: Cross 20, 21 over 22. Cross 10, 9 over 8. Knit row. Convert one row of st columns 22, 21, 20, 10, 9, and 8. Convert two rows of st columns 18, 16, 14, 12.
Row 11: Cross 21, 22 over 23. Cross 9, 8 over 7. Knit row. Convert sts 22, 23, 8, and 7.

Row 27: As on first row, pull sts 14 and 16 through st 15 and hang back on their ndls. Cross sts 29, 28 over 27. Cross 1,2 over 3. Knit row. Convert sts 16 and 14.

Row 34: Cross 23 over 21 and in front of 22. Cross 9 over 7 and in front of 8. Knit. Convert sts 24, 20, 10, and 6.
Row 35: Cross 24 over 23. Cross 20 over 21. Then cross 23 over 21 in front of 22. Cross 10 over 9. Cross 6 over 7. Then cross 9 over 7 in front of 8. Knit. To ease strain on needles, bring them to FWP, latches open. Knit.
