Excuse me, but what is a Knitsmart??

I don't know about you, but I was always curious because I had heard so much about this machine but I had never seen one. Finally, one day I saw one advertised on the net and bought it and I haven't regretted it at all, as a matter of fact, I bought four more Afghaners! I sure wish Bond and Knitsmart could have joined forces, then we might all have Bond/Knitsmart ISM's, 6.5 mm midgauge-machines and 9mm bulkies too and be rulers of the knitting world.......well, maybe!.........guess it wasn't meant to be......

This is the Knitsmart Sweatermaker (TM)

This is the machine I found on the net, it is the larger version and has 104 needles.

This is the Afghaner (TM)

It has 54 needles but like the Sweatermaker and the Bond, it can also be extended indefinitely.

Here is more detailed information:

Well, I have probably told you more than you ever wanted to know about this machine! I don't know what the exact problems were that caused Mr. Ruzio-Saban, the founder of "The Kimberly Market" company to stop manufacturing this machine. But be that as it may, I am grateful to both him and Roger Curry, the inventor of the Bond, for giving us these little simple gems that make it possible for so many to be so creative in a fraction of the time it normally takes to handknit!
