Hand knitted Sample:

You can see that the stitches have been picked up going from left to right and that the first stitch that was picked up is on top and leaning to the right.

The machine knitted sample:

The slant of the uppermost stitch is in the right direction and it is also on top.

The MK symbol for this transfer is:

I'm glad I had the book "Knitting Lace" by Susanna Lewis because this stitch symbol is not even in the Rosmalen font that I would think should include them all. She does list it in her book so I improvised a bit.

For this double decrease, you transfer the left stitch to the center needle, both stitches to the right needle, then all three stitches to the center needle.
