The plastic yellow/green cast-on cards that came with the 104-ndl
Sweatermaker also serve as needle selectors, a knitting gauge measure, knitting
needle sizer, as well as a ruler for both cm and inches. One edge of the cards
is beveled so it is easy to move the needles from holding position back to working
position. The cards that came with the Afghaner are made from thick cardboard
and do not have the needle selector function.
